Summary

Retrieve detailed information about a specific knowledge item by its unique ID from the Open Web UI service.

Inputs

• Id (required) — The unique identifier of the knowledge item to retrieve.
• Skip Authentication — Choose whether to skip authentication when making the request, default is false.

Output shape

A single knowledge item object with its detailed data as returned by the Open Web UI API.

The operation performs an HTTP GET request to the path /api/v1/knowledge/{id} where {id} is the knowledge item's unique identifier provided. Authentication using Open WebUI Auth credential is applied unless explicitly skipped. No pagination applies since a single item is retrieved.

Examples

Example 1: Retrieve knowledge item by ID

Set 'Id' path parameter to the desired knowledge item's ID. Leave 'Skip Authentication' false to authenticate with Open WebUI Auth credential. The node returns the knowledge item details in the output data.
