ZapGateInstall

Summary

Downloads media for a WhatsApp message through the ZapGate instance API. Provide a WhatsApp message ID to use the gateway inbox, or supply the message’s media details for download.

Inputs

• waMessageId — WhatsApp message ID. Recommended when available; the node uses the gateway inbox and does not require the other media fields.
• type (required) — Media type: image, audio, video, document, or sticker.
• url — Media URL; optional when directPath is provided.
• directPath — Media direct path.
• mediaKey — Media decryption key.
• fileSha256 — Media file SHA-256 value.
• fileEncSha256 — Encrypted media file SHA-256 value.
• fileLength — Media file length; numeric strings are converted to integers.
• mimetype — Media MIME type.

Output shape

A list of items, each containing the API response as JSON.

Makes a POST request to the instance message-download endpoint using the configured ZapGate credentials. It returns the API response directly as JSON; this operation does not convert the downloaded media into n8n binary data.
