Summary

Start connecting a ZapGate WhatsApp instance by requesting a QR code or a numeric pair code. The node polls for the code after the connection request and returns the API response, augmented with the code when polling finds one.

Inputs

• Method — Choose QR Code (default) or Código numérico (paircode).
• Número (paircode) — For paircode, enter the phone number with country code using digits only, without +; it is required for that method.
• Formato do QR — For QR mode, choose URL, Base64, or Binário. The node polls for the QR in the chosen format; Binário is requested as Base64 in the returned JSON.
• ZapGate credentials (required) — Requires the configured base URL, instance ID, and an Admin API Key. The instance ID is used in the connect and QR/pair-code requests.

Output shape

One n8n item per input item, each containing a JSON object.

Returns the connect API response, adding qr or pairCode if polling finds a value within up to 12 attempts at 500 ms intervals. QR format metadata may be included as qrFormat. Binário mode returns base64 in JSON rather than binary data. If no code is found during polling, the response may contain no code. Errors stop execution unless Continue On Fail is enabled, in which case an item with an error field is returned.
