Summary

Silences or unsilences a chat through the ZapGate instance API. Choose the chat and set the mute state and duration; the default is to mute for 8 hours.

Inputs

• chat (required) — Phone number with country code, digits only, or a group JID.
• mute — Whether to silence the chat. Defaults to true; set false to unsilence it.
• durationHours — Mute duration in hours; defaults to 8.

Output shape

A single JSON item per input item containing the API response.

Requires ZapGate credentials with an Instance ID and an Admin API Key or Instance Token. Sends a POST request to the instance chat mute endpoint.
