ZapGateInstall

Summary

Downloads media for a WhatsApp message through the ZapGate instance API. Provide the WhatsApp message ID to use the gateway inbox, or supply the message’s media details for download.

Inputs

• waMessageId — WhatsApp message ID. Recommended: when supplied, the gateway uses its inbox and the media detail fields can be omitted.
• type (required) — Media type: image, audio, video, document, or sticker.
• url — Media URL; optional when Direct Path is provided.
• directPath — Media direct path.
• mediaKey — Media encryption key.
• fileSha256 — Media file SHA-256.
• fileEncSha256 — Encrypted media file SHA-256.
• fileLength — Media file length; numeric values are normalized to an integer.
• mimetype — Media MIME type.

Output shape

A single output item per input item, containing the ZapGate API response as JSON.

The operation sends a POST request to the instance messages/download endpoint using instance authentication. The source does not convert the downloaded media into n8n binary data; response fields depend on the API.
