Summary

Sends a media message (image, audio, video, document, or sticker) to a WhatsApp chat via the ZapGate API.

Inputs

• to (required) — Phone number to send the message to (required).
• type — Type of media to send (image, audio, video, document, or sticker). Defaults to 'image'.
• caption — Optional caption text for the media.
• mediaSource — Source of the media: 'url', 'base64', or 'binary' (default: 'url').
• url — URL of the media file (required when mediaSource is 'url').
• base64 — Base64 encoded media data (required when mediaSource is 'base64').
• binaryPropertyName — Name of the binary field containing media data in the input item (required when mediaSource is 'binary').
• mimetype — MIME type of the media (defaults to 'application/octet-stream').
• filename — Filename for the media (defaults to 'file').

Output shape

A single record containing the API response for each input item.

The response includes fields specific to the ZapGate API, such as message status or delivery details.

Examples

Example 1: Send an image to a phone number.

Set to 'image', provide a URL in 'url', and enter the recipient's phone number in 'to'.

Example 2: Send a document from an item's binary field.

Set mediaSource to 'binary', specify the binary field name, and provide the recipient phone number.
