Summary

Retrieves the WhatsApp profile picture for a specific user, contact, or group.

Inputs

• phone (required) — WhatsApp phone number (with DDI, no spaces) or group JID (e.g., 5511999999999 or 120363123456789012@g.us).

Output shape

a single record containing the image data and metadata (usually base64-encoded data in a binary field or JSON).

Returns the image as a PNG binary or base64 string in the item's binary data field (often named 'data'). Returns an error if the contact/group has no profile picture.

Example 1: Fetch the profile picture for a contact number 5511999999999.
