Summary

Send a text message to a recipient via ZapGate.

Inputs

• to (required) — Recipient phone number (including country code) or JID for a group chat.
• text (required) — Message body text.
• quoteId — ID of the message to quote (optional).
• quoteChat — Phone number or JID of the chat being quoted (optional).
• quoteSender — Number of the sender of the quoted message (optional, mainly for groups).

Output shape

A single message object (e.g., { id: '<message-id>', status: 'sent' }).

The payload mirrors the API response; may include additional fields like 'sentAt' or be an empty object on error; success returns the created message payload.

Example 1: Send a simple notification to a contact.
