Summary

Edits a WhatsApp message in a specified chat by sending its message ID and replacement text to the ZapGate API.

Inputs

• Número (chat) (required) — Chat phone number with country code, digits only (for example, 5511999999999); for groups, use the group JID.
• ID da mensagem (required) — ID of the message to edit.
• Novo texto (required) — Replacement message text.
• ZapGate credentials (required) — Requires the base URL, Instance ID, and an Admin API Key or Instance Token.

Output shape

A single n8n item per input item, containing the ZapGate API response as JSON.

Sends a POST request to the instance message-edit endpoint. Errors stop execution unless Continue On Fail is enabled; then the item's JSON contains an error field.

Example 1: Edit a message in a direct chat

Set Número to 5511999999999, provide the message ID, and enter the replacement text.
