Summary

Sends a request to mute a specific ZapGate newsletter channel (e.g., WhatsApp channel) for a set duration.

Inputs

• jid (required) — The JID (Jabber ID) of the channel to mute.
• mute — Boolean flag to enable (true) or disable (false) the mute state. Defaults to true.

Output shape

a single record indicating the mute status update

The operation returns the result of the mute request; it does not return a list of items.

Examples

Example 1: Mute a channel for 8 hours

Example 2: Unmute a channel immediately
