Summary

Retrieves saved or imported messages from the ZapGate inbox for the configured instance. Optionally limits the number returned or filters by chat; requires no operation-specific input fields.

Inputs

• limit — Maximum number of messages to retrieve; defaults to 500, with a documented maximum of 10,000.
• chat — Filter messages to a chat using its phone number with country code or a group JID.

Output shape

A single JSON response object from the ZapGate API, returned as one n8n item per input item.

The operation uses GET on the instance inbox endpoint and sends the supplied filters as query parameters. The response fields and whether the API wraps messages in a list are not specified by the node.
