Summary

Posts an edit request for a WhatsApp message in a chat, replacing its text. Provide the chat number or group JID, message ID, and new text; the request uses the ZapGate instance credentials.

Inputs

• Número (required) — Chat phone number with country code, digits only, or a group JID.
• ID da mensagem (required) — ID of the message to edit.
• Novo texto (required) — Replacement message text.

Output shape

A single JSON item per input item containing the ZapGate API response.

Uses POST /instances/{instanceId}/messages/edit with instance authentication. The operation-scoped properties supplied are empty, but the source declares these three required fields for the editMessage operation. Errors are thrown unless Continue On Fail is enabled, in which case an item with an error field is returned.

Examples

Example 1: Make a correction to a message previously sent in a direct chat

Set Número to the recipient phone number with country code, ID da mensagem to the message's ID, and Novo texto to the replacement text.

Example 2: Update a message in a group

Set Número to the group's JID, then provide the message ID and replacement text.
