ZapGateInstall

Summary

Authenticates with the ZapGate API by sending an API key to the login endpoint. Use it to obtain the API’s login response for downstream workflow steps.

Inputs

• API Key (required) — The ZapGate API key (ZAPGATE_API_KEY) sent in the request body. The operation-scoped properties list is empty, though the operation declaration defines this field as required.

Output shape

A single n8n item containing the login response as JSON.

Sends a POST request to /api/v1/auth/login using the configured ZapGate base URL. The request does not use a bearer token; the API key is supplied in the body. If the response is not an object, it is returned as { "result": "<response>" }. On failure, the node throws an error unless Continue On Fail is enabled, in which case it returns an item with an error field.
