Summary

Edits a WhatsApp message’s text in a specified chat using the ZapGate instance API.

Inputs

• chat (required) — Chat number with country code, digits only, or a group JID.
• id (required) — ID of the message to edit.
• text (required) — Replacement message text.

Output shape

A single item per input item, containing the API response as JSON.

Requires ZapGate credentials with an Instance ID and instance authentication token or Admin API Key. Sends a POST request to the instance messages edit endpoint; with Continue On Fail enabled, errors are returned as an item’s error field.
