Activity → Create
AI-generatedSummary
Creates a new activity (task/event) in LLW CRM by POSTing to /activities, with optional linking to contacts, companies and deals, and optional follow-up association management.
Inputs
- Title (required) — Title of the activity.
- Activity Type (required) — Activity type, chosen from types loaded from the CRM (/activity-types).
- Due Date (required) — Due date (YYYY-MM-DD).
- Due Time — Due time in HH:MM:SS.
- Description — Free-text description of the activity.
- Is Completed — Whether the activity is already completed (default false).
- User — Responsible CRM user, loaded from /users. 'No Owner' leaves it blank and it is omitted from the request.
- Contact ID — Comma-separated contact IDs to link; parsed into an array of integers, non-numeric entries dropped.
- Company ID — Comma-separated company IDs to link, parsed to integers.
- Deal ID — Comma-separated deal IDs to link, parsed to integers.
- Manage Associations — If enabled, makes an additional association call after the activity is created.
- Association Operation — Attach, Detach or Sync; shown when Manage Associations is on. Used as the path segment of the follow-up call.
- Associations — JSON object of IDs by type (e.g. companies, contacts), sent as the body of the association call.
Output shape
One item per input item, containing the JSON of the created activity as returned by the LLW CRM API.
Empty fields are omitted from the request. If Manage Associations is on, a second POST to /activities/{id}/associations/{operation} is sent, but its response is not returned; the output is the create response. This POST is used even for Detach. With 'Continue on Fail', failures yield an item with an 'error' message.

Example 3: Create an activity and attach extra records afterward
Fill required fields, enable Manage Associations, Association Operation 'Attach', Associations {"contacts":[1,2],"companies":[3]}.
