Summary

Creates a new industry record in LLW CRM by sending a POST request to the /industries endpoint with the supplied name.

Inputs

• Name (required) — The name of the industry. Sent as name in the request body. If left empty it is omitted from the body.

Output shape

One output item per input item, containing the JSON response from the LLW CRM API for the newly created industry (typically including its id and name).

The response is passed through as returned by the API. If 'Continue On Fail' is enabled, a failed item yields {error: message} instead of stopping the workflow. Each output item is paired to its input item.

Examples

Example 1: Add a new industry called 'Healthcare' so companies can later be assigned to it.

Example 2: Bulk-create industries from a spreadsheet, one per row.

Resource: Industry, Operation: Create, Name: {{ $json.industryName }} (runs once per input item)
