Summary

Declared for Activity in the UI, but in the source the Update or Create operation only runs for the Contact resource. With resource Activity, no branch matches, so no API call is made and the item is output with empty JSON.

Inputs

• Manage Associations — Boolean, default false. Shown for Activity. The source never reads it for Activity Update or Create, because that branch is skipped.
• Association Operation — Attach, Detach or Sync (default Attach). Shown when Manage Associations is on. It has no effect for Activity Update or Create.
• Associations — JSON of IDs, for example {"companies":[1,2],"contacts":[1,2]}. Shown when Manage Associations is on. It has no effect for Activity Update or Create.

Output shape

One output item per input item. For Activity, the item's json is empty/undefined because no request is made.

The updateOrCreate branch is hard-coded to resource === 'contact'. It searches contacts by email, name or phone, then updates the match or creates a new contact. Activity has no equivalent logic, and no activity fields are exposed for this operation. To create or update activities, use the Activity Create or Update operations instead. With Continue On Fail, errors are returned as {error} items.
