Summary

Updates the role of a specified member in a Zoho Cliq channel.

Inputs

• channelId (required) — Channel where the member role will be changed. Supports workflow mode (list, ID, unique name) or AI Tool mode (channel_id string only).
• memberId (required) — User ID of the channel member whose role should be updated. Must be the member user ID, not an email address.
• role (required) — Target role to assign. Options: super_admin, admin, moderator, member. Assigning super_admin requires sufficient channel authority.
• enableAiErrorMode — If true, errors return as output items instead of stopping execution (useful for AI Tool recovery).

Output shape

No body — success/failure only

Success returns no data; errors are returned as output items if enableAiErrorMode is enabled.
