Summary

Export messages from a specific Zoho Cliq chat transcript in bulk, handling pagination with an optional next token for consecutive pages.

Inputs

• Chat ID (required) — Specify the exact Zoho Cliq chat ID (not a channel ID) for the conversation whose messages you want to export.
• Next Token — Optional pagination cursor returned from a previous bulk export response to fetch the next page of messages; blank or omitted to start from the first page.
• Enable AI Error Mode — If enabled, returns API errors as output items to allow workflows to continue on fail, useful for AI tool integrations.

a list of message transcript data items potentially paginated with metadata including a next_token to fetch subsequent pages

Requires Zoho Cliq Organization Admin (Super Admin) with the 'Org Admin (Organization APIs)' scope and the 'ZohoCliq.OrganizationMessages.READ' permission. Only chat IDs (not channel IDs) are accepted. The Next Token parameter facilitates pagination through multiple requests if more messages remain to be exported.

Examples

Example 1: Export all messages from a specific chat

Input the Chat ID for the chat conversation, leave Next Token blank for the first call, and use the returned next_token in subsequent calls to fetch subsequent pages until no next_token is returned.
