Summary

Joins the current user to a specified Zoho Cliq channel.

Inputs

• Channel ID (required) — Unique channel ID to join as the current user (e.g., CT_...).
• Simplify — Whether to return a simplified version of the response instead of the raw data.
• Simplify Mode — Selects the output format: 'Simplified', 'Raw', or 'Selected Fields'.
• Output Fields — Specific fields to include when using 'Selected Fields' mode.
• Enable AI Error Mode — Whether to return errors as output items instead of stopping execution.

Output shape

A single record containing the joined channel's details.

The record ID is always included. Output can be raw data, simplified, or a subset of selected fields.

Examples

Example 1: Join a channel by ID

Set Channel ID to 'CT_2230642524712404875_64396981' and Simplify Mode to 'Simplified' to get a clean output item.

Example 2: Select specific fields

Enable Simplify, set Mode to 'Selected Fields', and pick fields like 'name', 'status', and 'participant_count'.
