Summary

Create a new role in Zoho Cliq with specified attributes such as name, profile type, description, and assigned user IDs.

Inputs

• Enable AI Error Mode - Whether to return errors as output items instead of stopping execution, recommended for AI Tool runs. — Toggle to enable AI error mode to handle errors as outputs.
• Input Mode - Choose between 'Using Fields Below' to provide parameters via UI fields or 'Using JSON' to supply the entire role definition payload as raw JSON. (required) — Select payload input method: structured fields or raw JSON.
• Name - The name of the role to create. (required) — Specify the role's name.
• Profile Type - The role type defined by Zoho Cliq (Members, Cliq Admin, Admin). (required) — Select the role's profile type.
• Clone Permissions from Role - Optional existing role to copy permissions from when creating the new role. — Optionally clone permissions from an existing role by ID or from a searchable list.
• Description - Optional description of the role. — Provide an optional description for the role.
• User IDs - Optional comma-separated list of user IDs to assign to the role. — Specify users to assign to the new role by their IDs.
• Role Definition (JSON) - JSON payload defining the role including keys: name, profile_type, user_ids, description, clone_id. (required) — Provide the complete role definition as raw JSON when using JSON input mode.

Output shape

a single object representing the newly created role with details returned from the Zoho Cliq API

The output includes the created role's data as returned by Zoho Cliq's Create Role API endpoint. If AI error mode is enabled, errors may be returned as output items instead of halting execution.
