Summary

Builds a Zoho Cliq card payload either from structured fields or raw JSON input without sending a message, enabling reuse of the payload. Supports detailed configuration of card theme, title, text, icons, thumbnails, slides of various component types, and interactive buttons.

Inputs

• Card Input Mode (required) — Select whether to define the card payload using structured fields or raw JSON.
• Card Theme — Choose the card visual theme when using structured mode (Basic, Modern Inline, Poll, or Prompt).
• Card Title — Optional title displayed next to the card icon.
• Card Text (required) — Main top-level text content shown on the card (max 4096 characters).
• Add Card Icon — Optionally add a 16x16 icon inline with the card title, either as Iconify prefix/icon or via a custom HTTPS URL.
• Add Card Thumbnail Image — Optionally add a larger thumbnail image, either from Iconify prefix/icon or a custom HTTPS URL.
• Slides — Add one or more card content components (e.g., charts, graphs, images, labels, lists, tables, or text). Each slide supports detailed configuration including titles, data, and buttons.
• Card Buttons — Add multiple buttons displayed at the bottom of the card with configurable types, labels, actions (copy, invoke function, open URL, preview URL, system API), and optional confirmation dialogs.
• Card Payload JSON — Provide the entire card payload as raw JSON, used only when Card Input Mode is set to 'Using JSON'.

Returns a JSON object with two main keys: 'cardJsonPretty' containing a formatted readable version of the card payload JSON, and 'cardPayload' containing the exact card JSON to be reused in expression-driven workflows or directly as raw payload in other Zoho Cliq message operations like Post Message, Edit Message, or Schedule Message. This operation does not send or post the message itself.

Examples

Example 1: Build a card payload with structured fields including a modern-inline theme, title, text, icon, a text slide, and action buttons.

User sets Card Input Mode to 'Using Fields Below', selects 'Modern Inline' theme, adds a card title and main text, enables card icon with an Iconify icon, adds a text slide with content and buttons, and configures buttons with labels and open URL actions.

Example 2: Build a card payload directly from raw JSON input for custom complex payloads.

User sets Card Input Mode to 'Using JSON' and pastes the full JSON payload defining text, card details, slides, and buttons.
