Summary

Create a new team in Zoho Cliq with a specified name, optional description, and optional list of user IDs to be members. Accepts input either as separate fields or as a raw JSON object.

Inputs

• Enable AI Error Mode — Whether to return errors as output items instead of stopping execution; useful for AI tool integrations to recover from API errors.
• Input Mode (required) — Choose between entering team details using structured separate fields or providing a full raw JSON team object.
• Name (required) — The team name; must be a non-empty string trimmed of whitespace and no longer than 30 characters. Required if using structured input.
• Description — Optional text description for the team; blank values are omitted. Used only in structured input mode.
• User IDs — Optional comma-separated Zoho Cliq user IDs to add as team members; blank values are omitted. Used only in structured input mode.
• Team Definition (JSON) (required) — JSON object or stringified JSON specifying team details including name, description, and optionally user_ids. Required if using raw input mode.

Output shape

a single object representing the newly created team, including its assigned ID and details as returned by the Zoho Cliq API

The operation requires the ZohoCliq.Teams.CREATE scope. In case of errors, if AI Error Mode is enabled, errors are returned as output items to allow continued workflow execution; otherwise, execution stops on error.
