Summary

Share one or more files to a specified Zoho Cliq target such as a chat, channel, bot conversation, or direct user. Supports specifying multiple files with optional comments, choosing the target type and identifiers, and options for sending as a bot or marking messages as read.

Inputs

• Share Target (required) — Specifies where to share the files: options include Chat, Channel (by ID or Unique Name), Bot conversation, Direct User, or Agent's Choice (AI-driven routing).
• Agent Selected Share Target (required) — When using Agent's Choice, select the specific target family for this call (Bot, Channel by ID or Unique Name, Chat, User).
• Post as Bot — Enable to share files using a bot's sender identity in channel targets; requires the bot to be a channel participant.
• Bot Unique Name — Exact bot unique name to use when posting as a bot or sharing to a bot target.
• Channel — Choose a channel by selecting from list or specifying its ID (for Channel by ID target).
• Channel Unique Name — Specify the exact unique name of a channel (for Channel by Unique Name target).
• Chat ID — Exact chat ID of the target chat (for Chat target).
• User Identifier Type — Select whether the direct user target is identified by user ID or email.
• User ID — Exact Zoho Cliq user ID to receive files (for User target identified by ID).
• User Email — Exact email address to receive files (for User target identified by email).
• File Input Mode (required) — Choose to provide file and optional comment pairs either through mapped entries (multiple rows) or raw JSON array.
• File Entries (required) — For mapped mode, a collection where each entry maps an input data binary field containing the file, plus an optional comment per file (max 10 entries).
• File Entries (JSON) (required) — For raw mode, a JSON array specifying file entries with binaryProperty or binaryHandleId plus optional comment, max 10 entries.
• Mark As Read — Option to mark the shared file message as read immediately for the current user.
• Bot Subscriber User IDs — Optional user IDs subscribed to a bot to send individual bot file share requests.
• Include Enhanced Output — Enable to return descriptive, workflow-friendly metadata about share success instead of raw API response.

Output shape

a list of file share result items, each corresponding to an input item; includes enhanced metadata by default

Supports multiple files per execution (up to 10). Returns rich success details unless disabled by Include Enhanced Output. Supports AI error mode to continue on recoverable errors instead of stopping execution.
