IT Glue ExtendedInstall

Summary

Retrieves configuration types (e.g. server, laptop, printer categories) from IT Glue via GET /configuration_types, either all of them or up to a set limit.

Inputs

• Return All — When true, pages through the API (page size 1000, up to 200 pages) and returns every configuration type. Defaults to false.
• Limit — Maximum number of results to return (minimum 1, default 50). Shown only when Return All is false; sent as page[size] in a single request.

Output shape

A list of items, one per configuration type. Each item has the attributes converted from kebab-case to camelCase (e.g. name), plus id and type, and relationships if present.

This resource defines no filters or includes, so the operation can't be narrowed. With Limit, only a single page is fetched. If no records come back, the node emits one item of the form {found: 0, resource, operation}. Requests retry on HTTP 429 up to 3 times. Return All fails if there are more than 200 pages.

Example 1: Fetch the full list of configuration types to map names to IDs before creating configurations.
