Flexible Asset → Bulk Delete

AI-generated

Summary

Deletes multiple IT Glue flexible assets in a single DELETE request to the flexible_assets endpoint, given a JSON array of asset IDs.

Inputs

  • Flexible Asset IDs (flexibleAssetIds) (required) — JSON array of flexible asset IDs to delete, e.g. ["123","456"]. The runtime handler reads this parameter. It must be a non-empty array, otherwise the node throws an error. Each ID is converted to a string.
  • IDs (bulkIds) — A second JSON array field shown for this operation. The flexible-asset handler does not read it, so values entered here have no effect; use Flexible Asset IDs instead.

Output shape

A single item: { success: true, deleted: [...ids] }, where the array is the IDs passed in.

No deleted record data is returned. If the array is empty or not an array, the node errors (or emits an error item if Continue On Fail is on). A 429 rate-limit response is retried up to 3 times. API errors such as 401, 403 or other failures surface as node errors. If the field is supplied as a JSON string that doesn't parse into an array, the operation also fails with the same validation error.

Examples

Example 1: Remove two obsolete flexible assets by ID.

Resource: Flexible Asset; Operation: Bulk Delete; Flexible Asset IDs: ["101","102"]

Example 2: Delete assets whose IDs were collected by an earlier node.

Flexible Asset IDs set to an expression such as {{ JSON.stringify($json.ids) }} (or an array expression) returning the ID list.
