SSL Certificate → Get Many

AI-generated

Summary

Retrieves SSL certificate records from IT Glue (GET ssl_certificates), optionally scoped to one organization, filtered by name or organization ID, and with attachments or related items embedded. Returns either every match or up to a set limit.

Inputs

  • Return All — When true, pages through all results (1000 per page, max 200 pages, errors beyond that so add filters). Default false.
  • Limit — Max results to return when Return All is false (minimum 1, default 50). Sent as page[size], so only a single page is fetched.
  • Filters — Optional collection with 'Organization ID' (filter[organization-id]) and 'Name' (filter[name], filter by certificate name). Empty values are ignored.
  • Include — Multi-select of related resources to embed in the response: Attachments, Related Items (sent as the include query parameter).
  • Organization Name or ID — Choose an organization from a list loaded from IT Glue, or supply an ID by expression. If set, the request goes to organizations/{id}/relationships/ssl_certificates instead of the global endpoint.

Output shape

One n8n item per SSL certificate. Each item flattens the JSON:API resource: attributes become camelCase top-level fields (e.g. commonName, expiresAt), plus id, type, and relationships if returned.

If nothing matches, the node emits a single item {found: 0, resource, operation}. Requests auto-retry on HTTP 429 up to 3 times. Embedded included records are not flattened into the output; only the primary resources are returned, with their relationships references. The Organization dropdown and the Organization ID filter are separate: the dropdown changes the endpoint, the filter adds a query parameter.

Examples

Example 1: List all SSL certificates across every organization to check for upcoming expirations

Return All = true; leave Filters, Include and Organization empty; then filter on expiresAt downstream.

Example 2: Fetch the first 20 certificates for one client

Organization = the client's organization; Return All = false; Limit = 20.

Example 3: Find a certificate by name with its attachments

Filters > Name = 'wildcard.example.com'; Include = Attachments.
