IT Glue ExtendedInstall

Summary

Deletes multiple related-item links from a single IT Glue source resource in one DELETE request, using a list of related item IDs.

Inputs

• Resource Type (required) — Type of the source resource that owns the relationships (e.g. configurations, contacts, documents, domains, locations, passwords, flexible_assets, ssl_certificates, checklists, checklist_templates, tickets). Used to build the URL path.
• Resource ID (required) — ID of the source resource whose related items are being removed.
• Related Item IDs — JSON array of related item IDs to delete (the parameter the Related Item handler reads). Must be a non-empty array, or the node throws an error. Defaults to [].
• IDs — A second 'bulkIds' JSON array field is also shown, but the Related Item handler does not read it. Use 'Related Item IDs' instead.

Output shape

A single item: { success: true, deleted: [...] }, where deleted echoes the IDs array you supplied.

Sends DELETE to {resourceType}/{resourceId}/relationships/related_items with a JSON:API body listing each ID as type 'related_items'. IDs are stringified in the request, but the echoed array is the original input. An empty or non-array Related Item IDs value, or a missing Resource Type or Resource ID, raises an error. Rate-limit (429) responses are retried up to 3 times.

Example 1: Remove two links from a configuration

Example 2: Clear related items on a password using IDs from a previous node

Resource Type: Password; Resource ID: 890; Related Item IDs: expression such as {{ $json.relatedIds }} returning a JSON array
