IT Glue ExtendedInstall

Summary

Creates a new organization status in IT Glue (e.g. "Active", "Onboarding") by POSTing to the organization_statuses endpoint, and returns the created record.

Inputs

• Name (required) — The organization status name. Sent as the name attribute of the new organization_statuses record.

Output shape

A single item containing the newly created organization status, flattened from the JSON:API response: attributes converted from kebab-case to camelCase (e.g. name), plus id and type (and relationships if returned).

Throws an error if IT Glue returns no data. API errors (401, 403, 429, others) are surfaced as node errors. 429 responses are retried up to 3 times with backoff before failing. With Continue On Fail enabled, the error message is output as an item instead.

Example 1: Add a new lifecycle status for client organizations before assigning it to organizations.
