Password → Get Many

AI-generated

Summary

Lists IT Glue password records, optionally scoped to one organization and filtered by name, organization ID or archived status. Secret values (password, OTP secret) are always redacted in the output.

Inputs

  • Return All — If true, pages through all results (1000 per page, up to 200 pages, then errors asking for narrower filters). Default false.
  • Limit — Max results when Return All is off (default 50, minimum 1). Sent as page[size] in a single request.
  • Filters — Collection with Name, Organization ID and Archived. Each set value is sent as a filter[...] query parameter. Empty strings are skipped.
  • Include — Related resources to embed: Attachments, Recent Versions, Related Items. Sent as a comma-separated include query parameter.
  • Organization Name or ID — Pick an organization from a list, or give an ID by expression. If set, the request goes to organizations/{id}/relationships/passwords instead of the global passwords endpoint.

Output shape

One n8n item per password record. Attributes are flattened to camelCase, with id, type and any relationships alongside. Each item has _passwordRedactedReason set. If nothing matches, one item {found: 0, resource, operation} is returned.

Get Many never reveals plaintext. Keys such as password, otpSecret and passphrase are replaced with REDACTED. The reveal option exists only on single Get/Get Version. The Filters collection's Organization ID and the Organization dropdown are separate inputs, so use whichever fits. Requests that get a 429 are retried up to 3 times.

Examples

Example 1: Audit all non-archived passwords for one client

Organization = the client, Return All = true, Filters > Archived = false.

Example 2: Find a password entry by name and see its version history

Filters > Name = 'Router admin', Include = Recent Versions, Limit = 10.

Example 3: List every password across all organizations

Leave Organization empty, Return All = true.
