Contact → Get Many
AI-generatedSummary
Retrieves contact records from IT Glue, either all of them or up to a limit, optionally scoped to an organization and narrowed by organization ID, first name or last name filters.
Inputs
- Return All — When true, pages through the API (1000 per page, max 200 pages) and returns every matching contact. Default false.
- Limit — Maximum number of contacts to return (minimum 1, default 50). Shown only when Return All is off; sent as page[size] in a single request.
- Filters — Collection of optional exact-match filters: Organization ID, First Name, Last Name. Empty values are ignored. They are sent as filter[organization-id], filter[first-name] and filter[last-name].
- Organization Name or ID — Dropdown of organizations loaded from IT Glue, or an expression giving an ID. If set, the request goes to organizations/{id}/relationships/contacts instead of the global contacts endpoint.
Output shape
One n8n item per contact. Each item has the contact's attributes flattened to top-level camelCase keys (e.g. firstName, lastName), plus id, type, and relationships if the API returned them.
If no contacts match, a single item {found: 0, resource, operation} is emitted. Requests retry on HTTP 429 up to 3 times. Returning all results fails if more than 200 pages are returned, so add filters for large sets. Errors are raised as API errors, or emitted as an error item when Continue On Fail is on.
Examples
