Summary

Send a stored WhatsApp Business template to a recipient through the selected WABA connection. Optionally supply body and text-header variables, a media URL for media headers, and dynamic URL button values.

Inputs

• WhatsApp ID (required) — ID of the WhatsApp WABA connection.
• Template ID (required) — ID of the template imported into the system.
• Phone Number (required) — Recipient number including country and area codes.
• Body Parameters (JSON) — Template body variables keyed by number or name, for example {"1":"John"}; omit when the template has no body variables.
• Header Media URL — Public HTTP(S) URL for an IMAGE, VIDEO, or DOCUMENT template header. If blank, the operation omits this field so the template's stored media can be used.
• Header Parameters (JSON) — Text header variables keyed by number or name.
• Button Parameters (JSON) — Array of dynamic URL button overrides, each with a button index, type, and variable value.

Output shape

One or more n8n items containing the API response.

Posts the selected IDs and recipient number to the WABA template send endpoint. Optional JSON parameters are parsed and included only when non-empty; invalid JSON raises an operation error. If the API returns an array, each entry becomes a separate output item; otherwise its response is returned as one item.
