Summary

Sends a stored WhatsApp Business template to a recipient through the selected WABA connection. Supply the template and recipient IDs, then optionally provide body or header variables, header media, or dynamic URL button values.

Inputs

• WhatsApp ID (required) — ID of the WhatsApp WABA connection to use.
• Template ID (required) — ID of the template imported into the system.
• Phone Number (required) — Recipient number with country and area code.
• Body Parameters (JSON) — Optional object of template body variables keyed by number or name, such as {"1":"John"}.
• Header Media URL — Optional public HTTP(S) URL for an IMAGE, VIDEO, or DOCUMENT header. If supplied, it is sent as mediaUrl; otherwise this field is omitted.
• Header Parameters (JSON) — Optional object of TEXT header variables keyed by number or name.
• Button Parameters (JSON) — Optional array of dynamic URL button overrides, each specifying the button index, type, and variable value.

Output shape

A list of n8n items containing the API response for each input item.

Posts the template ID, recipient number, and WABA connection ID, including optional parameter fields only when they contain values. If the API response is an array, each element becomes a separate output item; a non-array response becomes one item. With Continue On Fail enabled, errors are returned as items with an error field.
