Summary

Send a base64-encoded file as a message to a specified WhatsApp phone number using the Digitalsac DigiCrm API.

Inputs

• param (required) — Connection UUID representing the WhatsApp connection; must be provided to send the file.
• base64PhoneNumber (required) — Recipient's phone number including country and area code (e.g., 5511999999999).
• mediaBase64 (required) — File contents encoded as a base64 string.
• mimeType (required) — MIME type of the file, such as image/png or application/pdf.
• fileName (required) — Name of the file including extension (e.g., file.png).
• base64Caption — Optional caption text to accompany the file.
• externalKey — Optional unique identifier for the message to track or reference it.

Output shape

a single JSON object containing the API response of the file sending operation

The operation requires a valid connection UUID (param), base64-encoded content, MIME type, file name, and recipient phone number. Throws errors if required fields are missing or invalid. Returns the API response as JSON.

Examples

Example 1: Sending a PNG image file as base64 to a WhatsApp number

Set 'param' to WhatsApp connection UUID, 'base64PhoneNumber' to recipient's number with country and area code, provide 'mediaBase64' with base64-encoded image, set 'mimeType' to 'image/png', and specify 'fileName' (e.g. 'image.png'). Optionally add a caption and external key.
